The top 7 movies I saw this year.

these are the top 7 movies that I saw at the theater this year.
1.batman begins-this is one of my favorite batman movies. The thespians chosen filled their roles brilliantly and were wisely chosen! I also loved the new batmobile!
2. Star wars-episode 3-I loved the drama surrounding the mystery that the characters were involved in. the last battle was certainly something to be seen!
3.war of the worlds-a great movie. Has some great, if not creepy, scenes that were definitely post 9/11 inspired!
4.charlie and the chocolate factory-Johnny depp + Tim Burton = sweet! Pun fully intended.
5.fantastic four-excellent superhero story! I would liken this to the first spiderman movie.
the thing character really moved me. Great effects make up for him. Doctor doom was really cool (especially his voice)!
6.the chronicles of narnia-the lion,the witch,and the wardrobe-Disney really surprised me with this movie. They didn't try to adapt it. They kept the story faithful to the source material. The actors that were chosen fit their roles perfectly!
7.peter Jackson's king Kong-this was also a great movie. The drama was great and the creature effects were awesome. This was truly peter Jackson caliber material!

4.charlie and the chocolate factory-I'm a big fan of Tim Burton and Johnny depp.

6.the chronicles of narnia-the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe-I loved this story as a child! I hope that it has the same type of "magic" that the "lord of the rings" trilogy did!
7.peter Jackson's "king Kong"-I can't wait to see what the director of the "lord of the rings" trilogy can do with this story!

Mothers.

these are the words that I think of when I think of mothers. Is it any wonder that the lord of heaven chose a mother to bring the God-child to earth?

Inspiration.

Every once in a while, god intersects our lives with people and/or events that are meant to inspire us. Such was the case for me the other day. While I was in the new walmart (yes, I occasionally shop at walmart!), I bumped into a terrific lady of whom I hadn't seen in the last few years. What makes this lady so terrific is the fact that she had the courage to escape from an abusive relationship with her husband. Her husband not only physically abused her, but made her suffer through mental abuse as well as the abuse of her children. When he put her in the hospital, he went to the hospital to finish the job that he had started. Since leaving him, she has completely reworked her life! She is active in her new church home, moving into a new house, and is the happiest person that I have seen her be in the years that I have known her. It is people like this person who inspire me to live the best life that I can to honor my God. Who or what inspires you in your life? Please feel free to let me know!
